Currently a technical leader at Verizon, he drives large-scale cloud and application modernization initiatives, including monolith-to-microservices migrations, multi-brand architecture consolidation, and mission-critical system transformations. Tarun has played a pivotal role in high-impact modernization programs such as Verizon’s Prepaid NSA modernization, Bill Pay Kiosk transformation, and the migration of Delta Airlines’ core platforms to AWS Lambda. His expertise spans Core Java, Spring Boot, AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, CI/CD automation, and GenAI-enabled development workflows, with a strong emphasis on security-first and reliability-driven design. Recognized for his leadership in secure software engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture, Tarun combines deep technical execution with the ability to mentor and lead globally distributed engineering teams delivering production-grade systems at scale.
