Santosh Kumar

Santosh Kumar (Senior Member, IEEE) is an AI researcher, engineer, and thought leader with over 15 years of experience in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. He serves as Technical Lead (AI) at HCLTech, USA, where he drives enterprise AI innovation across healthcare, insurance, and mission-critical domains. He is also the Vice Chair of the IEEE Denver Computer, Information Theory, and Robotics (CIR) Chapter at the University of Colorado Denver, contributing to professional education, community advancement, and global computational intelligence initiatives. Santosh’s research spans Generative AI, Responsible AI frameworks, and AI-driven healthcare systems. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications across IEEE, Springer, and ACM venues and is the recipient of the 2025 Globee® Award for Innovation in Artificial Intelligence. He regularly serves as a reviewer for leading IEEE conferences and journals—including IEEE Magazines—and has evaluated top-tier research submissions for NeurIPS. In addition, he has contributed as a judge for prestigious international AI and innovation competitions, including Sigma Xi and the IEEE SAC Awards 2025, supporting excellence in scientific and technological advancement.
