From building real-time messaging features like typing indicators, emoji popups, and session history, to optimizing performance and squashing memory leaks, I thrive at the intersection of user experience and backend efficiency. My work has spanned WebSocket communications with XMPP, robust unit testing with tools like Jasmine, QUnit, and Istanbul, and even designing logging systems to improve product observability. Previously at ShoreTel (now Mitel), I played a key role in engineering core features for the Shoretel Connect platform.
