Judging Panel
Morris Kithinji
Morris Kithinji is a business analyst, technology strategist, and founder working at the intersection of analytics, AI, and financial services. He holds an M.S. in Business Analytics and Information Management from the University of Delaware and brings more than nine years of banking and microfinance experience across Kenya and the United States, where he managed commercial lending portfolios, conducted credit appraisals, and built the analytics behind growth and risk decisions. Through CITIGEN Labs, Morris builds AI-native software for healthcare operations, financial workflows, and professional networking. He leverages AI, data, and business acumen together — using machine intelligence to surface patterns, analytics to test whether those patterns hold, and commercial judgment to determine which ones are worth acting on. His work spans backend integration, payment automation, appointment scheduling, and cloud deployment, with a consistent emphasis on user-centered design and analytics that lead to a decision rather than a dashboard. Morris is a Horn Entrepreneurship Summer Founders alum, an NSF I-Corps Northeast participant, and a first-place winner at VentureOn. He mentors early-stage founders, works as an evaluator of AI systems, and has judged competitive events for the Diamond Challenge, DECA, and Business Professionals of America. As a judge, he looks for whether a team's numbers actually support the story it is telling, and whether the insight on the slide would change what someone does on Monday.
