Dinesh Gopalan

Dinesh Gopalan currently serves as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AMD, a director level role within the company. In this position, he provides strategic leadership across AMD's AI and infrastructure organization and isresponsible for guiding Senior Members of Technical Staff and other engineers on his team. He leads projects for xAI, Open AI and Meta to name a few. In addition to his work at AMD, He is also a venture partner, investor, and advisor with a venture capital firm that has invested more than ten million dollars across twenty plus US based startups in AI, technology, and healthcare. In this capacity, he evaluate founders, technology strategy, product direction, and long term scalability, and works directly with early stage companies on growth and operational readiness. Prior to AMD, he served as Senior Manager for Global Network and Cloud Infrastructure at Peloton, leading enterprise wide infrastructure strategy. Earlier to this, he was Chief Architect at McKesson (a Fortune 10 company), where he oversaw the network architecture supporting the Moderna COVID 19 vaccine distribution centers, a project with national level importance. He is widely regarded as an expert in his field, a mentor who uplifts his teams, a strategist who navigates complex technical landscapes with clarity.
