Afshaan Mazagonwalla

Afshaan is a Staff AI Engineer at Google Cloud Consulting, where she helps organizations unlock the power of Generative AI for their businesses. She works on cutting-edge generative AI applications like LLM-powered chatbots, natural language search, multimodal AI for image generation and video understanding and advises businesses across industries like healthcare, finance, media, retail and marketing on how to build first-of-a-kind, production scale GenAI solutions. She has a research background in multimodal AI at the intersection of language, vision and reinforcement learning from her Master’s Degree at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to Google, she worked as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer developing large-scale machine learning models at various Fortune 500 companies.
