Ajai Paul

I am an experienced technology leader with a strong background in building high-performance teams to secure critical business services, applications, and infrastructure across cloud, data centers, and networks. Since December 2021, I have served as Enterprise Security Leader at Affirm Inc., driving initiatives to protect cloud assets, enhance DevSecOps, and operationalize security programs. As CISO at Amount Inc. (2019–2021), I developed a cybersecurity program compliant with PCI, NIST, and CSA standards. My prior roles include Director of Security Engineering at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and consulting at Harman International, Deloitte, and Walgreens, focusing on cloud security and compliance. I hold a CISO Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University (2017) and a B.Eng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson Polytechnic University (1998). Through publications and conference talks, I share expertise in securing cloud environments and addressing cyber threats, contributing to the tech community.
