Aniket Abhishek Soni
Aniket Abhishek Soni is a Senior Data Engineer with over six years of experience in scalable data engineering, AI-driven analytics, and cloud computing. Currently at Cognizant Technology Solutions, he designs robust ETL pipelines, automates data workflows, and integrates AI-powered solutions to improve data accuracy, business intelligence, and operational efficiency. His technical expertise includes Databricks, PySpark, AWS, Snowflake, SQL, and advanced visualization tools, empowering organizations to make strategic, data-informed decisions. Beyond his engineering role, Aniket is a published researcher, peer reviewer, and author, with several research papers in AI, data science, and geospatial analytics. He is currently authoring a book focused on emerging trends in data engineering and AI applications. His work bridges technical innovation with practical impact, contributing to both academic and industry advancement. Aniket also serves as a Research Analyst at Climate Change Xplorers, where he develops geospatial analytics models and predictive weather systems by integrating big data, machine learning, and IoT-based monitoring—supporting global climate action through technology. He is a passionate mentor and thought leader, guiding aspiring engineers through platforms such as FEA India, ENGin Ukraine, and TopMate.io. He also contributes as a peer reviewer and judge for leading tech competitions and awards, including the Globee Awards, Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards, Major League Hacking (MLH), and multiple international hackathons. Aniket holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Southern Arkansas University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. His skills are validated through certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud Digital Leader, and Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE).
