10 International Business Leaders Among The First Judges Selected for Big Awards

Business Awards Program Focuses on Recognizing Performance Globally

PHILADELPHIA—May 21, 2012—The Business Intelligence Group, host of the BIG Awards, announced their initial panel of 10 judges who are tasked with analyzing and scoring nominations in the upcoming awards program that specializes on recognizing talent and performance in the business community.

The BIG Awards, launched in March, offers contests in five categories including Company of the Year, Start-up of the Year, Product of the Year, Case Study of the Year and Executive of the Year. Nominations are accepted in each of eight separate industries.

Often award programs have hidden judging processes and unknown judges that select winners. Without knowledge of how nominations will be judged and scored, companies often struggle with writing and submitting nominations that accurately depict their performance.

“Anyone can request to be a judge but the Business Intelligence Group, with the help of our advisors and associates, will make the final selection based on our standards,” said Russ Fordyce, managing director of the Business Intelligence Group. “All too often, awards programs use their own editors, writers or friends to judge nominations. We tightly manage our selection process so only experienced business professionals with expertise and a history of helping companies are part of our program.”

The BIG Awards is a very transparent program, giving companies and executives insight into the judges, the judging process, as well as their own nomination performance. This exclusive judging process measures nominations across multiple variables and from multiple judges. Nominations are individually scored by each judge and ranked, providing organizations with insight on their own performance so they gain real value from the process.

The initial panel of judges for the 2012 BIG Awards includes:

Steven J. Schwartz international best-selling author of How To Make Hot Cold Calls and So Your Foot’s In The Door…Now What? and sales visionary whose sales and leadership processes were licensed by American Express.

Lilach Bullock founder of UK-based Socialable.co.uk, co-author of Using Images to Influence the World and social media expert.

Cynthia Kincaid vice president of Business Segment Communications for Huntington Bank, a $54 billion Columbus Ohio-based bank holding company.

Christopher Walkey CEO of MarketmeTV a UK-based start-up specializing in video production, social networking and TV ready websites.

Manik Kinra co-founder of India-based Jade Magnet, a creative crowd-sourcing platform that helps businesses connect with creative professionals from around the world.

Matthew L. Barsing chief marketing officer at West Melbourne, Australia-based UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre and chairman at Malaysia Australia Business Council.

Ken Balog of Richmond, Virginia-based Digital Growth Ventures whose career includes roles at eknow and PercisionIR Group.

Harmeet Singh Arora founder of India-based MobiSwipe Technologies Private Limited, a mobile payment service that enables merchants to accept credit and debit card payments anywhere and anytime.

Kiran Mander an independent marketing consultant who recently ran global campaigns for New York-based ifridge & Company.
